I am writing again. I’ve been reading too. I am coming to terms with decision-making and choice selection. Everything has consequences even if you don’t make a choice. Facebook. I try to be as transparent as possible with only small secrets in a storage box. So, I will use my WordPress blog to emancipate my mind but use Facebook sparingly for workplace politics reason. In whatever fashion, you should always show your true self and honor you.

Anjolique continues to be a wonderful daughter. Each week is a surprising mix of collaborated conversations and ephiphanies of chuckled laughter. She is a child of mine and a spirited child.

I’ve been doing some divination and in so doing, I must come to terms with spirituality and religion. Religion can sometimes cloudy your spirituality or is it vice versa. If I had to choose, I choose spirituality.

I’ve been enjoying food lately…fresh food of all sorts. Durham has has so many events in the past few months in addition to few positive changes particularly in repavement of the city. It is so wonderful to drive on an even-paved road.

Dear Christianity,

I’ve been on this path since December 2007.

I wasn’t trying to die and get into heaven.

Heaven is here and so is hell.

What will happen each day, time do tell.

You give me the creeps about creepin’

I even think twice about clubbin’

I hate to say it but this Christian path is so narrow

That I can’t even stretch out my elbow.

Why do we have so many religion?

Isn’t a good and bad side enough for a legion?

No sex before marriage…

At least I was married before I had the baby carriage.

No wine?

But sometimes…it tastes so ‘divine’!

I don’t give my tenth,

But I do give plenty of time…

To those who are lost

or in need of information–at no cost.

You mean I can’t read my horoscope?

Or even read about Chinese New Year?

I am telling you this Christianity can be so intimidating.

I looked around church folks today.

Some were falling out, some were screaming in tongues.

I was one of them.

I screamed “Breakthrough. Hallelujah. Breakthrough.”

For now, I am through with Christianity.

For now, I am back to regular ‘ol me.

The bible…let’s not get started.

I don’t even know if I will ever finish reading it.
